iDTGV: A New Way To Travel

On 6 December 2004, the starting price for a one-way flight from Paris to Marseille was 23€, compared with 19€ on a new-style TGV. This innovative way of travelling allows booking up to four months ahead of time and provides a choice of travelling style: 100% relaxation in the Zen zone, or 100% entertainment in Zap. An extensive range of services is available from the buffet car, including sleep kits and DVD rentals, while in the lounge area you can have a massage, check out the latest in hi-tech gadgetry, or sample typical French cuisine. The result of launching this revolutionary service on the Paris-Toulon route was 20,000 tickets sold on the first day.

The iDZEN Zone

No more noisy journeys! Travel in a totally relaxing environment. Peace and quiet rule so you can enjoy this area and recharge your batteries. To ensure this zone remains a tranquil environment, there are a number of rules: phones are to be switched off, silence is required, pets are not allowed and noisy devices are prohibited (unless used with earphones).

To make the most of this relaxing journey, you can purchase magazines or a sleep kit at the bar (carriage 14). Sweet dreams!

From Paris, you can alight at TGV stations in Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, Bordeaux, Cannes, Marseille, Nîmes, Nice, Montpellier, Saint-Raphael, Toulon and Toulouse. If you are travelling to Paris, you can board your train in the same cities.
